A month in pictures

Since August has crept upon us and July was a busy month I thought I'd fill you in, so sit tight...

Finally, I got to visit Universal studios Harry Potter studios. Despite living only about an hour away from it, this trip was extremely long awaited. It did not disappoint, if you're a lover of Harry Potter then I really recommend paying it a visit. Excuse the awful photo, but I'll do a blogpost containing all my nice HD SLR fancy photos at some point. Call me a weirdo, but i loved butter beer although insanely sweet it was weirdly addictive. Needless to say Harry Potter studios was the best way to start a busy month.

The next day I jetted off again but this time to Sardinia for a family holiday... Let's just say it took a while to get used to a family holiday after Kavos.
I've always loved traveling, so I didn't mind at all being in the airport at 3am, plus i had my trusty friend Starbucks to keep me nicely caffeinated.
A week of Wine, bread and cheese what could be better? We went on a tour of Sardinia one day which took 12 hours, we went to plenty of villages where each one took us in and fed us wine and bread and we saw some of the most breathtaking views. The best way to get over Kavos was definitely soaking up the sun with an all inclusive bar in Sardinia.

Excuse my messy room and bed but I then came home and made some bunting. It was my first time making bunting but I'm a keen sewer and was quite proud of it. It only took about 2 and a half hours to do so it was an afternoon well spent. Next time I thought I might do one for my musketeers uni rooms but put there names on them to make their rooms a little more homely and cute.

Last weekend I ventured off with my familia to Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire... I think.... For the day and it was sooo beautiful it was full of gardens and fun nooks and crannies to go and explore. Man I'd get married there in a heartbeat but now to find the lucky suitor. It was so picturesque and in the middle of nowhere so was the perfect place to unwind after an adventurous month.

So where's to next on the horizon I hear you ask, I believe I'll be visiting Coton Manor this weekend which is my favourite place, it even has flamingos. A trip to Oxford town and Cambridge botanical gardens is certainly on the horizon and to top it off the end of the month will be spent in our barn in Cornwall. Here's to a month of future tears, clearing and hopefully some sunshine.
